The NY Jets defense allows 88.8 rushing yards per game this year. That’s 2nd of the 32 teams, with a sample size of 14 games. That means their rushing defense is extremely stout. With 86 yards last night, Lamar Jackson on his own matched the season average basically.

Jackson’s rushing yards per attempt is also at 6.9, and that’s 0.9 yards/rush higher than anyone else in the whole NFL . And it’s 1.8 yards/rush more than anyone with over 150 rush attempts. Anything over 5.0 yards/rush is considered amazing. That’s beyond staggeringly impressive from Jackson.

He’s 5th in total rushing yards for the season and teammate Mark Ingram (a dedicated RB) is in 10th.

Jets vs. JAX

He’s an exciting player to watch for sure. We always with mobile QBs, I’m concerned for his longevity in the league. We’ve seen this play out a lot before where they get injured and are ne ve r the same player again.

Lamar Jackson is the only other
QB in the league
who scares me
.
I was okay with the 49ers losing because it was only
by a
TD
and not the ass-beating I feared
.

Also he’s leading the NFL in passing TDs, and is 9th in the NFL in rushing TDs— that was before last night, too.

Why do the jets keep getting prime time games?

Also, here in DC, especially in the Maryland burbs, disgruntled former R-words fans are flocking to the Ravens, according to the Failing Fake News Amazon Washington Post .

This was really the first game I’ve been able to actually sit and watch him this season. It's amazing to watch him play.

If Lamar doesn’t win a superbowl this year or next, I don’t think he ever will.

It’s not Sunday morning with a bunch of other games. I think of the Monday and Thursday games as prime time
